In efforts to attract qualified leads and interested parties at a tradeshow or event, making information about your product, technology, brand, or company culture accessible to the greatest number of attendees possible is essential. Implementing next-generation strategies will ensure you and your company remains ahead of the exhibiting power curve, but what should these strategies entail?
Starting and sticking to an in-house corporate recycling program can be a challenge: who will organize the recycling, what will be recycled, who will accept the recyclables and, possibly the most trying task of the bunch, how to educate employees on why they should even give a hoot.
Our recycling program, initiated in May 2009, has now diverted more than 700 lbs of assorted recyclables from Austin area landfills. Today’s drop-off yielded over 500 lbs of paper, plastics, aluminum and glass recyclables, as we had been saving our materials to make for a hearty excursion.
Additionally, later today we’ll be making a trip to Eco Box’s north Austin location for repurposing the large amount of cardboard boxes our normal business operations have generated in our warehouse. These guys even come to you, given you’ve 50 boxes or more, for free! This is a great service and practice for businesses with high volumes of cardboard waste as every little bit helps in limiting waste which enters into our city dumps.
