Recycle and Reuse

Buying used trade show exhibits makes a lot of sense. Recently we pointed out some key benefits, including lower costs, that come along with purchasing a pre-owned display. But there’s another benefit to consider as well: a reduced impact on the environment.

More and more, companies (and the individuals that make them up) are becoming aware of their “environmental footprint.” Finding ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle can make all of us feel better. It’s responsible and wise, and it makes good business sense.

So what does that have to do with used trade show exhibits?

A lot, actually. As you’re probably aware, a big trade show booth is a significant amount of metal, fabric, plastic, and more. Buying a used booth is a form of recycling. It means another new booth (with all its required raw materials) wasn’t produced, which saves energy and resources. Choosing to rebrand and renovate an existing booth rather than sending it to the scrap yard also means less waste in our landfills.

You can also then market to your customers as a more eco-friendly company. Your customers care about it, so tell them you do to. But even better than telling them, you’re showing them in a very real, tangible way. So it’s good for the environment, and good for marketing.

Don’t forget, it’s also good for business. That less expensive used trade show booth improves your return on investment and your bottom line. A better bottom line means more money in your pocket. And that’s the kind of “going green” we can all understand.
